PHOENIX (AP) - Early voting for the November general election is here.

Thursday marks the first day for voters to go to voting centers and cast ballots for statewide, legislative and local races and ballot measures. And county registrars of voters are mailing early ballots starting today.

Voters can expect to see ballots arriving as early as Saturday.

The top statewide races include the race to replace Republican Gov. Jan Brewer, Attorney General Tom Horne and schools chief John Huppenthal. Voters also will cast ballots on all 9 Congressional districts in the state.

The election is Nov. 4. To find early voting locations, check with your local county elections office. For election day polling locations, go to the Arizona Secretary of State’s website at www.azsos.gov and click on the Voter View icon.
