OSHKOSH, Wis. (AP) - A 32-year-old Oshkosh man has been charged with driving drunk and causing a deadly crash.

Oshkosh Northwestern Media reports (https://oshko.sh/1vOyJQs ) 32-year-old Joshua Ronnfeldt was charged Wednesday in Winnebago County court in the Sunday death of 53-year-old Carmine DeAngelis of Winnecone. Ronnfeldt faces charges including homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and hit-and-run resulting in a death.

He faces up to 90 years in prison and $220,000 in fines if convicted.

Police say Ronnfeldt was speeding before he crashed into a vehicle that was stopped for a train in Oshkosh. They say he walked away from the scene and was found hiding behind a nearby bush.

Police say his blood alcohol level was about 0.16.

He is in the county jail on $100,000 bond. It wasn’t immediately clear if he has an attorney.
