NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Metro Nashville Police have identified the person killed when a semi-truck slammed into a home.

Police told The Tennessean (https://tnne.ws/1sjXnZl) that 66-year-old Carol Boo was dead by the time officers arrived.

The tractor-trailer, which was hauling 40,000 pounds of pumpkins, veered off the road and crashed into her home about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Photos of the scene showed part of the trailer sticking out of the house.

Police said in a statement that the truck driver, 34-year-old Leonard Wilson of Nashville, said the trailer began wobbling and he lost control of the vehicle. Wilson was not injured in the crash.

Two others in the home at the time of the crash weren’t injured.

Police are still investigating.
