MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Metro Transit officials are investigating after a Blue Line light rail train struck a woman.

The incident happened shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday at the Franklin Avenue Station.

The woman suffered injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening. Rail service was disrupted for about 90 minutes and buses were used until it was restored.

Metro Transit spokesman Drew Kerr tells KSTP-TV there were no reports of injuries on the train.
