CHICAGO (AP) - The Chicago Cubs are tipping their hats to a championship team at Wrigley Field: The Jackie Robinson West All-Stars.

The team that won the national Little League championship game before falling to South Korea in the world championship game was honored on Monday.

The Cubs wore the team’s ball caps and jerseys during pregame routines. Jackie Robinson West Coach Darold Butler threw out the game’s ceremonial first pitch. And during the 7th inning stretch, the team is leading the crowd in the traditional singing of “Take Me Out To The Ballgame.”

The Cubs will auction off the jerseys and caps online, with proceeds going to Jackie Robinson West Little League.

Last week, the Jackie Robinson West All-Stars were welcomed back to Chicago with two rallies and a parade.
