MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Volunteer firefighters in Autauga County will receive money for new breathing equipment.

The Autauga County Firefighters Association has received a grant for more than $614,000 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The award does not include the Prattville fire department.

To obtain the grant, the association had to promise to provide its own 10 percent match.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports (https://on.mgmadv.com/1lrkzmU ) there will be enough money to purchase 130 air packs.
