MONROE, La. (AP) - Police say a Monroe man has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, days after a stabbing in a local home.

The News-Star reports (https://tnsne.ws/1vFmlnZ ) that 56-year-old Donald Ray Myles was arrested early Monday.

Myles is believed to be related to the 24-year-old victim who was stabbed twice Thursday.

Myles is being held at Ouachita Correctional Center on $150,000 bond. It was not immediately clear whether he has an attorney.
