MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - Montgomery police are investigating a pair of killings over the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Police said 22-year-old Ronald James of Montgomery was found with a gunshot wound shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday on Park Towne Way Drive. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Later, around 3:40 a.m. Saturday, police and medics found 38-year-old Darrell Chillous of Millbrook with a gunshot wound. He later died at a hospital.

Police said no arrests have been made in either case.

The Montgomery Advertiser reports that the crimes were among three killings in Montgomery County over the weekend.

Sheriff’s officials say a 27-year-old woman, Ballard Reynolds, was found shot to death in the Waugh area Saturday night. Authorities say apprehended a suspect in that case, which they say was part of a robbery.
