QUAPAW, Okla. (AP) - A family whose historic home was damaged extensively by a spring tornado says they plan to rebuild.

The Miami News-Record reports (https://bit.ly/1umqycg ) that David and Andrea Bundy plan to rebuild the home that they have lived in since 2006. An April tornado that killed one person in Quapaw ripped the roof off of the Bundy’s home bricks and blew out windows.

The Bundys did not have insurance on the home and acquired a loan for the estimated $100,000 for repairs.

The aviator-wing style home has five bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has been in Andrea Bundy’s family for generations. It was built in 1910.
