RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Police in Rapid City say they are still searching for the 28-year-old male suspect in a motel shooting.

Police say the suspect in the Sunday morning shooting at the Colonial Motel has two other active warrants. One warrant is for aggravated eluding, DUI and reckless discharge or possession of a firearm while intoxicated, and the other is for failure to comply with a sentence.

Authorities say no one was injured during the incident at the motel.

The Rapid City and Pennington County Special Response Team was dispatched shortly after the incident to a residential area where authorities believed the suspect was hiding. Officers entered a home, but the man was not inside.
