KAUFMAN, Texas (AP) - FBI agents are again searching the home of the man suspected of killing a North Texas district attorney, his wife and his top assistant.

Agents were seen Thursday at the home of Eric Williams, a former justice of the peace set to go on trial this year for the killings in Kaufman County, east of Dallas.

An FBI spokeswoman confirmed the search, but declined to comment on what agents were seeking.

Williams could face the death penalty if convicted in the deaths last year of Kaufman County District Attorney Mike McLelland, his wife Cynthia and prosecutor Mark Hasse.

Authorities have already linked a weapon recovered in an area lake to Hasse’s death.
