KENNESAW, Ga. (AP) - Authorities in Cobb County say the man who shot employees at a metro Atlanta FedEx facility in April had considered executing a similar shooting at his high school.

Cobb County Public Safety Director Sam Heaton told the Marietta Daily Journal Thursday (https://bit.ly/YAJ1rZ ) that an investigation into the personal belongings of 19-year-old Geddy Kramer showed that he planned a shooting at North Cobb High School in Kennesaw. Heaton says Kramer considered the shooting while he was enrolled in school and investigators notified the district of their findings.

Kramer wounded six people at the FedEx warehouse in Kennesaw before killing himself on April 29. All six victims survived the shooting. In July security guard Christopher Sparkman, who was shot at close range by Kramer, was allowed to leave the hospital.
