HONOLULU (AP) - Honolulu firefighters are continuing a search that began with the discovery of a diving buoy.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser (https://bit.ly/WONFRx) reports a paddleboarder Wednesday night found the buoy 15 yards off Rabbit Island.

The buoy had a three-prong spear attached to it.

The Honolulu Fire Department began a search by air and water just after 7 p.m.

Police and firefighters also searched the beach. A helicopter search resumed Thursday.
