FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas running back Alex Collins appears to have finally found a balance between his off- and on-the-field preparations, much to the dismay of opposing defenses.

Collins rushed for 1,026 yards last season while earning the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year honors.

However, Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema wanted the Florida native to improve his eating and sleeping habits - which Collins finally did after last season. The 5-foot-11 running back now weighs 218 pounds after playing at 204 last year, and he leads Arkansas with 199 yards rushing through two games.

The Razorbacks (1-1) snapped a school-record 10-game losing streak with a 73-7 win over Nicholls State last week, and they travel to Texas Tech (2-0) on Saturday.
