ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - The New York State Museum in Albany is opening a new exhibition that honors those lost in the September 11 World Trade Center attacks.

The exhibit opens Thursday, the 13th anniversary of the attacks. It features contents from the Family Room, which was established as a private place for families to remember loved ones killed in the 2001 attacks. Contents were transferred to the State Museum over the summer from the World Trade Center site.

Over the past 13 years, family members installed thousands of photographs, notes, tributes and other personal objects at the Family Room.

The exhibition includes artifacts, quotes from family members, and a visitor-operated digital program that includes full 360-degree images of the Family Room.
