ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Firefighters say a wildfire next to a freeway at the Orange-Riverside county line is 40 percent contained and there is little active flame.

Lt. Bob Dunn says Thursday there are 90 firefighters monitoring hot spots at the 39-acre blaze. The fire was reported about 1 p.m. Wednesday but Dunn says no cause has been determined.

Although State Route 91 was closed for a time Wednesday, the California Highway Patrol says all but one lane at Gypsum Canyon Road has reopened.

Dunn didn’t know if an injured member of an Orange County Fire Authority hand crew was still hospitalized.

There were no plans for any water drops Thursday, but Dunn says that could change if the fire flares up.
