PUTNAM, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say an autopsy has determined that a 31-year-old woman found dead in an Adirondack lake last week had drowned.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office tells The Post-Star of Glens Falls (https://bit.ly/1nNvV0n ) that there were no indications that Xiang “Addison” Wang of Ticonderoga used drugs or alcohol before she died while swimming in Lake George.

Officials say her body was found last Thursday night about 180 feet off a beach in the town of Putnam, on the lake’s northeastern shore 75 miles north of Albany. The beach was closed for the season and no lifeguard was on duty.

Authorities say they’re awaiting final autopsy reports that will determine whether a medical problem played a part in her death.
