CORINTH, Miss. (AP) - Authorities in Alcorn County say two men face charges after contraband was found at the Alcorn County Regional Correctional Facility.

Jail officials tell WTVA-TV (https://bit.ly/1qNN6lK ) that 30-year-old Marcus Sorrell and 28-year-old Eugene Stewart were found with drugs and a cellphone.

Alcorn County narcotics agents say they began an investigation after nine ounces of marijuana was found in a pillow case at the jail on Tuesday.

Sorrell was booked with possession of marijuana in a state prison. Stewart was booked with felony possession of a cellphone in a state prison.

It was uncertain whether either man has an attorney.
