BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. (AP) - A northwestern Arizona woman is accused of attempted first-degree murder after an alleged domestic violence involving her ex-boyfriend.

Bullhead City police say a man ended his relationship with 48-year-old Priscilla Silver Ann Gilleland about three weeks ago.

Gilleland allegedly told her ex-boyfriend that she was going to kill him and then kill herself unless he continued their relationship.

Police were called Thursday morning to a Bullhead City home after the ex-boyfriend told Gilleland she was going to be evicted.

Gilleland allegedly pointed a handgun at the man, a struggle ensued and she fired the gun. The bullet went into a couch that the man had been sitting on.

Police say Gilleland was booked into the Mohave County Jail in Kingman. It was unclear Friday if she has an attorney yet.
