PITTSBURGH (AP) - A Pittsburgh man jailed on charges he groped a U.S. marshal as she jogged near the Allegheny River, has also been charged with harassing another woman on the same trail earlier that day.

A preliminary hearing Thursday was postponed for 19-year-old Robert Flynn because county doctors hadn’t cleared him as mentally competent following an evaluation stemming from the first incident.

The female marshal told police she was jogging Sept. 2 when Flynn approached, grabbed her buttocks then pulled down her shorts. She told police she chased Flynn to a nearby apartment building, where she kicked Flynn in the groin when he lunged at her.

The new charges were filed after a second woman identified Flynn as lifting her skirt and brushing her buttocks as she walked to work that morning.

Flynn’s attorney, Lee Rothman, declined comment Friday.
