SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - The Utah Board of Regents has named a new president to Salt Lake Community College.

The board announced Thursday that interim college president Deneece Huftalin would lead the school.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports (https://bit.ly/1CXL0Go) Huftalin has worked for the college for more than 20 years.

She replaces Cynthia Bioteau, who left last year to become president of Florida State College at Jacksonville.
