FLINT, Mich. (AP) - Police in Flint say they’re arrested a city employee for turning on a resident’s water illegally.

The Flint Journal reports (https://bit.ly/1oBtqON ) the man was arrested Thursday while turning on the water of a home. Police say he’s expected to be charged with fraud.

The man’s name wasn’t immediately released.

Flint officials estimated in 2012 that more than 30 percent of the city’s water usage each year went unbilled due to theft, leaks and fighting fires.
