CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a driver for an armored car company in Conway stole more than $89,000 in just over two weeks.

The State Law Enforcement Division said in a news release that 60-year-old Jerome Kittle is charged with breach of trust.

Agents say Kittle worked for Loomis and took $89,750 in cash out of deposit bags on his armored car route from Aug. 18 through Sept. 2.

An arrest warrant says Kittle admitted to Loomis he took the money and told his employer how he did it.

Kittle faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted. It wasn’t known if he had a lawyer.
