PHOENIX (AP) - Paving work on Interstate 10 on the western outskirts of the Phoenix will create a traffic bottleneck this weekend.

The Arizona Department of Transportation says it will be placing rubberized asphalt pavement on I-10 between Cotton Lane and Jackrabbit Trail and also installing signs in the area.

According to ADOT, eastbound and westbound I-10 will be narrowed to one lane in each direction from 10:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday.
