OCEANSIDE, Calif. (AP) - A Southern California woman has been arrested on suspicion of drowning her toddler son.

U-T San Diego reports (https://bit.ly/1pZb35F) 28-year-old Veronica Rivas was arrested Friday for investigation of murder.

She and her 22-month-old son were found unconscious in their home Wednesday. The boy later died at a hospital.

Lt. Leonard Cosby said the boy’s father told investigators he and Rivas had a dispute over child custody.
