WASHINGTON (AP) - Football season is finally here. We’re helping you find fellow fans of your favorite NFL team.

Some bars have special themed game-day menus, including the Steelers at Tortoise & Hare and the Seahawks at Acre 121. Others stick to happy hour specials, such as $3 domestic beers at Town Tavern and $9 Miller Lite pitchers at Mason Inn. The best spots reward you for wearing your colors: The Capitol Lounge offers an open bar to Lions, Steelers and Patriots fans wearing team jerseys or hats, beginning 90 minutes before kickoff, and Neighbors Restaurant in Vienna offers 10 percent off to members of the Browns Backers.

Two big moves to note: Both of Washington’s major Pittsburgh Steeler bars closed over the offseason, sending fans to Tortoise & Hare and Capitol Lounge instead of the Pour House and the Mighty Pint. Also, Seattle Seahawks fans have left Penn Quarter Sports Tavern in favor of Acre 121.
