BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) - Boca Juniors were leading Racing 1-0 on Sunday thanks to a Jonathan Calleri goal when driving rain forced referee Federico Beligoy to suspend the match 12 minutes into the second half at Boca’s Bombonera stadium.

It was not immediately clear when Argentina officials will complete the remaining 33 minutes of one of Buenos Aires most intense derby matches.

In two other first-division matches Sunday, Lanus defeated Banfield 1-0 and Belgrano won by the same score against Velez Sarsfield.

In other weekend games it was: Gimnasia 0, Defensa y Justicia 3; San Lorenzo 2, Godoy Cruz 1; Tigre 4, Rosario Central 1; Atletico Rafaela 1, Estudiantes 0; Independiente 5, Quilmes 3,

River Plate leads the Argentina standings with 16 points after seven rounds, one clear of Independiente.
