HELENA, Mont. (AP) - Football players from Montana State and Montana are among those honored by the Big Sky Conference for their efforts over the weekend.

Montana State quarterback Dakota Prukop was named the league’s offensive player of the week. The sophomore from Austin, Texas, had 379 yards in total offense and accounted for three touchdowns in MSU’s 44-33 win over Central Arkansas in Bozeman.

Prukop completed 19 of 27 passes for 289 yards and a 46-yard touchdown to Brian Flotkoetter. Prukop also rushed 18 times for 90 yards and two scores, including a 39-yard TD run.

Montana defensive end Zack Wagenmann earned defensive honors. The senior from Missoula had three sacks and six total tackles in Montana’s 28-20 home win over South Dakota. Two of his sacks came on third down, ending potential scoring drives.

Sacramento State kicker Brad Cornish earned special teams honors.
