DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover police says someone cut through the roof of a country club to break into a country club.

It happened about 4:15 a.m. Sunday at the Maple Dale Country Club. Police say someone used tools to cut through the roof and got into the men’s locker room.

Officers say the suspect tried to get into the pro shop, but could not. The suspect tried to leave through the doors of the locker room, but damaged the doors in the attempt, setting off burglar alarms.

Police say the suspect fled back through the roof.
