BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) - Former Gov. Charlie Crist is spelling out some of his plans to create jobs.

Crist on Wednesday released proposals he says will create middle class jobs. The list of proposals includes restoring financial incentives for film productions and taking steps to help the solar industry.

Crist also called for increasing spending on the state’s tourism marketing efforts and doing more to help the space industry.

Crist also took shots at Gov. Rick Scott’s economic development efforts. Crist, a Democrat, criticized the Republican incumbent for offering money to companies that relocate to the state. He said that Florida should focus on assisting businesses already in the state.

Crist’s plan, however, did not include a lot of specifics. It also did not include exact figures on how much it would cost.
