NEWARK, N.J. (AP) - Two New York men’s dance performance on a Newark-bound PATH train has led to criminal charges.

Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police say the incident occurred at about 4 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the suspects began playing music and dancing in an apparent attempt to solicit money.

Police say they became aggressive, and a 21-year-old male passenger reported being kicked in the chest. A 27-year-old female passenger reported being harassed, and the dancers allegedly squirted the conductor in the face with liquid from a water bottle.

Nineteen-year-old Kaheem Francis and 18-year-old Tiquan Arnon, both of New York City, were arrested at the Harrison Station. They face charges including assault, disorderly conduct and interference with public transportation.

It was not immediately known if they had retained attorneys.
