ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say 41 people have been indicted in connection with drug pipelines bringing heroin and cocaine to Syracuse.

The New York state Attorney General’s Office and state police say the arrests were made early Thursday in Syracuse, the Bronx, Manhattan, Ossining and in Paterson, New Jersey, following the investigation by New York’s Organized Crime Task Force and other agencies.

Investigators say heroin was transported between New York City; Providence, Rhode Island; Worcester, Massachusetts, and Syracuse, and that the cocaine came from Puerto Rico.

Indictments include nine members of one Syracuse family.

Seizures made during drug raids include more than a kilogram of heroin and three kilograms of cocaine, as well as over $75,000 in cash.
