LAWTON, Okla. (AP) - A Lawton man has been sentenced to life in prison on cocaine and methamphetamine charges.

The Lawton Constitution reports (https://bit.ly/1o5qtWF ) 39-year-old Cody Mayfield was convicted Wednesday. A Comanche County judge sentenced him to two consecutive life sentences for two drug possession charges.

The sentencing was enhanced because of prior felony convictions. Mayfield was previously convicted of larceny and in a 1994 armed robbery.
