Peyton Manning admitted that Colorado’s legalization of marijuana has made him a very rich man since he snatched up 21 Papa John’s franchises.

The Broncos quarterback bought the pizza chain franchises in October 2012, just two weeks before weed was legalized in the state. Mr. Manning referenced the law when MMQB.com’s Peter King asked him if he voted.

“I’ve gotten to know some of the folks here in Colorado,” Mr. Manning said. “There’s some different laws out here in Colorado. Pizza business is pretty good out here, believe it or not, due to some recent law changes. So when you come to a different place, you’ve kind of got to learn everything that comes with it.”
