BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A 22-year-old Billings man who was shot five times earlier this week has been arrested on a probation violation.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Rod Ostermiller tells The Billings Gazette (https://bit.ly/XMwtgb) that marshals arrested Nathanial David Dudding Wednesday afternoon. Montana’s Probation and Parole Bureau requested the arrest. State records indicate Dudding was given a 15-year suspended sentence in June for accountability to a burglary in Custer County in October 2013.

Police Lt. Kevin Iffland says Dudding isn’t cooperating with officers who are investigating the shooting.

Dudding was shot in the back, arm and leg early Tuesday.
