POTEAU, Okla. (AP) - Forest landowners are invited to attend a workshop about responding to changing environmental conditions.

The Oklahoma Woodland Owners Association event is Saturday at the Kerr Center near Poteau.

Presenters from Oklahoma State University and the U.S. Department of Agriculture will discuss ways landowners can effectively respond to changing environmental conditions.

There will also be a presentation regarding possible land-use restrictions as a result of U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service rules on northern long-eared bat habitat.

A $20 registration fee is requested to cover the cost of materials, refreshments and a catered lunch.
