AKRON, Ohio (AP) - A candlelight vigil and other events have been planned to honor the northeast Ohio school bus driver who died this week saving a 10-year-old girl from a runaway bus.

Fifty-one-year-old Laura Zborowski, a bus driver for a private company, was killed Tuesday when she was dragged under a bus during a safety drill at an Akron charter school called Middlebury Academy.

A candlelight vigil is planned for 6:30 p.m. Saturday outside of Middlebury Academy.

The Akron Beacon Journal (bit.ly/1rjJhqk) reports that visitation is set for Sunday night, and funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday.

A fund has been set up by the family to help with expenses.
