CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Michael C. Flynn has been named president of Frontier Communications Corp.’s newly formed Mid-Atlantic region comprising Ohio and West Virginia.

Frontier says Flynn will be based in Charleston. He previously served as president of the company’s Illinois operations.

Flynn succeeds Ken Arndt, who has been named president of Frontier’s East region.

Frontier says in a news release that general managers for its Ohio and West Virginia operations will continue in their respective roles.
