TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - The University of Alabama System board of trustees is set to consider an operating budget.

The Tuscaloosa News reports (bit.ly/1wMwks9) that the board is meeting Friday on the proposed UA operating budget for fiscal year 2015, which would be an increase of about 6.4 percent over 2014.

Officials say revenues from all funds for UA are expected to be about $875 million.

The university announced earlier this week that its fall enrollment of 36,155 continued the growth trend in recent years and set a record. Enrollment for the fall represents a 3.7 percent increase over 2013, which also posted record numbers.
