KINSTON, N.C. (AP) - Police in Kinston say the February death of a 1-month-old boy was homicide.

Area media outlets reports the Kinston Department of Public Safety says in a statement that police responded to a residence on Feb. 18 regarding the death of Caden Williams.

At the time, authorities ruled the boy’s death undetermined, pending an autopsy.

The autopsy report was filed Aug. 17, and it declared the child a homicide victim. Kinston detectives reopened the case on Aug. 20 and remains under investigation. So far, there have been no arrests in the case.
