TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Expect another hot and muggy day across New Jersey.

The National Weather Service says that while the calendar says it’s September, the weather it behaving like the hottest part of summer.

Temperatures Tuesday were expected to be above 90 degrees in many parts of the state. With high humidity, it will feel even hotter.

Air quality advisories are also in effect in some areas.

Some areas could be hit be Tuesday evening by thunderstorms.



It’s expected to be in the upper 80s the rest of the week.
