NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (AP) - A North Augusta woman has been arrested and charged with killing her husband at their home.

Multiple media outlets reported that 59-year-old Deborah Morris was arrested Monday and charged with shooting and killing her husband.

North Augusta police Lt. Tim Thornton said officers were called to the couple’s home around noon Monday and found 63-year-old Stephen Morris dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

Deborah Norris also is charged with possession of a gun during a crime. It was not clear if she has an attorney.

Thornton said investigators have not determined a motive in the shooting.
