SARANAC LAKE, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a man in his 60s has died after suffering a medical condition while driving his pickup truck in the village of Saranac Lake.

Saranac Lake Police Sgt. Geoff Carmichael tells the Adirondack Daily Enterprise (https://bit.ly/1pjMNuF ) that the man’s GMC Sierra crashed into a stone wall on Broadway in the village on Monday morning.

John LaPier was driving a Time Warner Cable repair truck behind the pickup and saw the crash. He said he called 911 and ran to the vehicle and saw that the driver was having a medical emergency.

The man was pronounced dead at Adirondack Medical Center. His name wasn’t released, pending notification of relatives.
