LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Little Rock police say they’ve arrested three men at Philander Smith College who pointed a gun at children.

Sgt. Michael Ford tells KATV-TV (https://bit.ly/1nRCsXt ) he saw a male passenger in a car on Sunday pointed a gun at two children approximately ages 8-12. Ford says he intervened and chased the vehicle to the college, where its three occupants fled on foot.

Police chased the suspects into a residence hall and locked it down. They searched it floor by floor until two of the men were apprehended. Campus security detained the third suspect.

It’s unclear if they are students or if they’ve been charged.

The station reports the college declined to comment. Police say they haven’t identified the children for interviews.
