REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. (AP) - Police say three people stole a tray of seven diamond rings from a Rehoboth Beach jewelry store.
The News Journal (https://delonline.us/1ug1bd5 ) reports the theft occurred Saturday afternoon at Dynasty Jewelry store. Police Chief Keith Banks says two men and a woman walked in and blocked the view of a clerk on the other side of the store.
Police say the suspects lifted the top glass on a display case and took the diamond rings valued at between $20,000 and $40,000.
The clerk tried to stop the suspects, but they escaped and fled the scene.
