DOVER, Del. (AP) - The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office says a fire that heavily damaged a home in Dover was deliberately set.

Officials say the fire was reported shortly after 9 p.m. Friday in the Hidden Acres community of Dover. Firefighters were forced to evacuate the structure after the roof collapsed. There were no injuries reported in the fire.

Neighbors say the house was vacant.

Deputy fire marshals were called to the scene and are conducting an arson investigation.

Heavy damage from the fire is estimated at $200,000.
