MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Former Hewlett-Packard executive Carly Fiorina is set to deliver the keynote address at the New Hampshire Republican Party’s annual convention.

Party members will gather Saturday in Manchester to ratify the party’s platform and hear from elected officials and candidates. The state’s Democratic Party held its convention in June. The GOP’s platform includes commitments to limit government, pass right-to-work legislation, oppose casino gambling and abortion, promote marriage between one man and one woman and defend the Second Amendment.

Fiorina, a former candidate for U.S. Senate in California, visited New Hampshire earlier this year for an event aimed at engaging Republican women. She hosted a luncheon with Republican women and campaigned Friday with gubernatorial candidate Walt Havenstein (HAV’-ehn-styn), who faces incumbent Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan.
