SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (AP) - More than 1,000 homes in several Southaven neighborhoods will get new collection dates for garbage and rubbish.

The Commercial Appeal reports (https://bit.ly/Xp4cvA) route days will change on Nov. 1.

Public works director Bradley Wallace says garbage contractor Arrow Disposal Service Inc. asked for the change for neighborhoods from the east side of Tchulahoma to the west side of Getwell, and then north of Goodman to Ansley Park and the Country Oaks area. He says residents will be notified of the changes.
