MERIDEN, Conn. (AP) - Meriden police have identified a woman who died after crashing her motorcycle.

Police say 47-year-old Davaina Berube of Meriden lost control of her 2006 Harley-Davidson on Cook Avenue just after 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Authorities say the motorcycle went off the road and flipped through the parking lot of an abandoned gas station.

Berube was later pronounced dead at MidState Medical Center in Meriden.

Police say they haven’t found anything to indicate that another vehicle was involved.

Witnesses to the accident are urged to call Meriden police.
