PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say one man was killed and another was critically injured in a shooting in northeast Philadelphia overnight.

Police said the gunfire was reported at about 8 p.m. in the Kensington section of the city.

A 22-year-old man hit several times in the chest and side was pronounced dead minutes later at Temple University Hospital.

A 32-year-old man hit twice in the back was reported in critical condition.

Police said the motive for the shooting is unknown and no suspects were immediately arrested.
